Workers Compensation Group Premium Discount Plan
Save Significantly on Your Workers’ Compensation Premium
Did you know that many alternative discounts are available to help reduce your annual Ohio workers’ compensation costs? Through the Builders Exchange of Dayton workers’ compensation program, your organization can significantly reduce your workers’ compensation costs through a variety of alternative rating programs. Our program, administered by Sedgwick, offers you quality service and stability through the complex workers’ compensation environment.
For over 50 years, Sedgwick has been helping employers navigate Ohio’s workers’ compensation system, providing services to help them control claim-related costs and reduce premiums. Their team includes the experienced colleagues from CompManagement and CareWorks Comp. The two companies merged and are now Sedgwick. Together, they serve nearly 65,000 Ohio employers including organizations of all sizes operating in various industries across the state. Group rating programs administered by Sedgwick have produced over $4 billion in savings since group rating was introduced in 1991, and their group retrospective programs have returned over $630 million in premium refunds since the program began in 2009.
If your organization is not yet participating in this member benefit, and you would like to receive a free, no-obligation analysis from Sedgwick, click here to fill out the workers compensation group rating application or email our Program Manager, Julia Bowling at Julia.Bowling@Sedgwick.com

TekCollect specializes in early intervention on delinquent accounts. Their persistence, professionalism and pricing are unparalleled. And their service is completely Web-based for the most convenient, accessible, real-time account management solution available.
TekCollect caters specifically to small- and medium-sized businesses, enabling them to establish long-term relationships, provide personalized service and generate aggressive results. They successfully manage a portfolio of 30,000 clients around the country. And their recovery ratios are three times the national average.
All DBX members receive key account status. A designated TekCollect Account Manager will contact you on a monthly basis to review the status of your accounts receivable, implement custom solutions, and provide ongoing personal attention and support.
For all DBX members, TekCollect’s custom program includes two phases of aggressive collection efforts. The Primary Phase involves a series of professional contacts beginning with an Audit/Balance Verification notice. They follow up with strategic telephone campaigns, plus up to six high-impact written contacts, the final being an Attorney Demand. All delinquent accounts are reported to the credit bureaus. And for any debtors they are unable to contact, wthey will conduct electronic database skip tracing. Payment is directed to the DBX member for immediate account reconciliation and to help preserve and maintain the customer relationship. For more difficult collections and possible litigation processing, DBX members can elect to implement the Secondary Phase. At the conclusion of the Primary Phase, accounts that still remain delinquent can be transferred, with the member’s approval, to TekCollect’s Secondary Contingent Recovery Division.
